What are things that make you far happier than they have any business doing? My list would include peanut butter rice krispie treats, fondling beautiful yarn at a yarn store, TV shows Wipeout and Steven Segal: Lawman, and my new love for Words With Friends on my iPad. Maybe the iPad should be on the list by itself (it is so fun.) Ooh, also a freshly mopped floor (particularly if I didn't do the mopping), sleeping past 8am on a Sunday morning, freshly made guacamole (a recent obsession), and pictures of old couples still so in love.

Driving by myself with music blasting.
The shock of tourists on the subway and how they try to hide their aversion to being in a tight space with strangers who don't look like them (evil, i know, but it delights me)

Fabric stores
Plans to make things
The fact that my basil plants are still alive
Fireflies in my apt complex courtyard (so many!)
Genealogy-I love finding dead people
Understanding the difference between a Ureter and a Urethra.
My 10 yr old holding my hand
CHOCOLATE
A clean house- more when I don't have to clean it
A successful garden
My 4 year old singing the national anthem!
My daughter rubbing my feet
Making cookies with my toddler
Seeing my kids enjoy their grandparents.
My husband being home- even if he is studying.
Being able to walk and stand erect with little to no pain.
Oh and memories of YOU!
