On the move

This weekend we went to the zoo. Evelyn really liked watching the birds in the aviary. It was a warm day so we sat down in the shade to eat a picnic. Jon protected us from the mean, hissing, head-bobbing geese.

So Evie has started moving forward. Just a little. She doesn't like it very much and only goes a few "steps" before she stops and crawls backward again. She does kind of a 3-point stance, with her hands on the floor, one knee pushing forward and one foot pushing to the side. She'll figure it out soon enough.

This is often what happens...stuck under the couch.

And that's it! Still no word on Jon's business venture. He is waiting to hear from the city if a particular location is zoned properly. If it is...well, this whole thing is pretty much a Go. If not, he'll keep looking for another great location. But this one...this one would be nice.
