I like to ride my bicycle.

Bicycle riding. It's fun. It's family-friendly. It's eco-friendly. But what to do with a baby? The answer is not one of those trailer things (too far away...and behind me...and she's too young...and what if a car doesn't see it?). Nor is it one of those rear-mounted toddler seats (again behind me...and how am I supposed to get her in there if I'm by myself?). No, the answer is the front-mounted iBert bicycle seat!

Oh my, Evelyn is so adorable. She took to her seat right away. It sits at the front of the bicycle between the handlebars. I can even keep my basket on the bike! Great for quick shopping trips.

And that helmet! Well, let's just say it is made for a kid 18 months old...but Evelyn's head fits just fine in it right now.

Whee! We are cruising along the Highline Canal Trail, heading home from a delicious breakfast. Jon took the picture from his own bike so the picture is a little blurry.

Now that I have this seat I hope I can take Evelyn for bike rides once a week or so. Maybe Saturday to run quick errands or go to old town Littleton (hello, yarn store). I have a leaky tire, though, so I must get that fixed first. Anyway, it was a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning.

And one more picture. Maybe it is just the perspective here, but does my child's head look as big as her grandmother's? I think so. Her torso is nearly as large as well...
